Monitoring Performance

Step 1: Navigate to the "Products" Screen

Step 2: Locate the main chart with dropdown options:

BSR vs Search Exposure

This chart shows the Best Seller Rank of your product on the X Axis of the chart, and the estimated “Search Exposure” metric on the right. Search Exposure is a metric that measures the overall search volume of a product that exists in the keywords in its content. BSR and SVE are tightly correlated, this graph usually shows a tendency to move up and to the right.

BSR over Average Competitor

If the product is currently Live on Amazon or if the “Approve” button has already been clicked, the BSR Performance Over Time chart will be visible by default. Otherwise, the BSR VS Search Exposure chart will be visible. You can always click the title text to see the drop down options and select the other charts.

BSR Performance Over Time

The BSR Performance Over Time chart shows how BSR changes in response to changes in product content. Each time your content Is-Live status changes, the change is annotated on the chart. This lets you see when your content changes and infer which changes had a positive or negative effect on your Best Seller Rank.

BSR over Average Competitor

The BSR over Average Competitor chart shows the BSRs for your product and each of your product’s competitors. This is a useful view at how your competitors are performing during the same time period as your own product. By Clicking the “Average Competitor BSR” button, you can get a view of the overall changes in the BSR of your competitors compared to your own product. This is useful for seeing whether or not your changes in BSR are normal in your product category or whether or not your product is acting differently.

In the above example, our product’s BSR is flat, but the average competitor has been deteriorating quickly
